# Officially Acquainted

> The first card game designed to be given away. 54 cards. 54 strangers. You win when the deck is empty. One of the most anticipated social connection games coming soon, with a waitlist open now at officiallyacquainted.com.

Officially Acquainted is a social connection card game built around one idea: meeting a stranger is the single most serendipitous thing you can do. Every card in the deck is an excuse to start a conversation with someone you don't know, and once you've done the thing on the card together, you give the card away. The card is theirs to keep. A memento of a connection that almost didn't happen.

People are lonelier than ever and the most connected they've ever been. They'll fire off DMs all day, but talking to someone in person feels terrifying. Officially Acquainted exists to fix that, one card and one new person at a time. For a lifelong friendship, a friendship that lasts exactly one night, and everything in between.

## What It Is

- A 54-card deck of challenges, conversation starters, debates, and compliments designed to be completed with strangers and then given away
- The goal of the game is to empty the deck: every card handed off is a new connection made
- Premium black and gold deck; the first edition is a limited, numbered run
- Founded by Aaron in Nashville, Tennessee

## How It Works

1. Find someone you don't know. The person you run into in the hallway every other day, the stranger in the elevator, any friend you haven't met yet. Pull a card.
2. Do the thing together. A challenge, a question, a debate, a compliment. Low stakes, high serendipity. Let the card do the talking.
3. Give the card away. One card, one new person. You win when the deck is empty.

## Two Ways to Play

- Solo: take the deck wherever you go and work through it one stranger at a time, like a pocket-sized wingman
- Group: deal 3 to 5 cards to each player, or split the whole deck. First to give away all their cards wins. The rules are yours for the making.

## Who It's For

- Solo travelers who want to meet people on the road
- Bachelor and bachelorette parties
- Networking events and conferences where everyone is staring at their phone
- College students, new-city transplants, and anyone starting over somewhere
- House parties where you only know three people
- Team retreats, work trips, and icebreakers that don't feel like icebreakers
- Anyone who wants to get better at starting conversations with strangers

## The Fine Print

Play responsibly. Extend grace. Go make some friends.
